A-Team Wildfire Contract Engines, Inc.
Committed to outstanding performance and leadership on the fireline since 1997.

A-Team Wildfire Contract Engines, Inc. is a family run business out of La Grande, Oregon. Warren Giles (CEO) and his wife Liz operate their business while their two daughters Schin and Behth manage engine crews on the fireline. We are proud to be a member of the National Wildfire Suppression Association (NWSA) and participants in the Contractor Certification Program since it's inception in 2009. Warren Giles is also president of the Northwest Contract Firefighters Association (NCFA) and an active participant in the Region 6 Water Handling Group.

History:
Our business started with Warren and his son Zayin in 1997 with one engine. Over the years the company has grown to eight engines and has become an employment resource for the small timber community of La Grande Oregon.

Our dedication to excellence and leadership on the fireline moved both Warren and Schin to become wildland firefighter instructors. Every year we offer both Basic and Advanced fire courses during the spring and summer months leading up to the fire season. In addition, we also offer saw classes as well as the newest refresher training to ensure that all firefighters operating on the fireline do so safely and efficiently.

Our commitment to leadership and advancement in the wildland fire environment has enabled us to hire and retain many outstanding fire fighters over the years and we welcome those who wish to enrich their lives by providing the public service of wildland firefighting.

If you would be interested in a wildland fire fighting career please feel free to call or e-mail Warren Giles at warren.giles@gmail.com with any questions you may have. We look forward to adding you to our team. See you on the fireline.

We offer a wide variety of fire classes every year.  Please visit our Facebook page or call Warren Giles for current classes being offered.
